A gifted spiritual teacher and channel for over 40 years, Lina works with a group of ascended Master teachers known as “the Guides.” Working with Lina and the Guides is always a powerful, transformative, and deeply healing experience! We will harness the alchemical magic of Intentional Creativity to accelerate the integration of the Guides’ powerful teachings. We will use creativity as a tool for self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.
Painting Our Inner Priestess
Through the portal of our canvas, we will connect with our Inner Priestess, call her into form, and learn to listen to her messages. Each of us will create a powerful 24 x 30 painting of our Inner Priestess that will delight and inspire us. Once we connect with her in this sacred way, our Inner Priestess will forever be available to us for guidance and support, serving as a potent talisman to which we can return again and again for healing, wisdom, strength, and love.
Journey to Avalon Within
Through painting, poetry, and prayer, we will journey to the Avalon within, our heart-source of eternal wisdom, wholeness, and Divine Light. Using our paintbrushes as magic wands, we will call the boat, part the mists, claim the sword of truth, and harvest the golden apples of wisdom from the orchards of our inner Avalon. Our paintings will hold the energetic, symbolic, and visual record of our sacred journey of healing, transformation, and self-discovery.
Absolutely no painting experience necessary. We promise. The painting experience is a gentle, fully guided, step-by-step process.

The mystical serenity, natural beauty, and sweet enchantment of this island jewel will surely awaken your memories of Avalon, carrying you home to a time when women walked upon the earth as High Priestesses, ambassadors of the Goddess, and embodiments of Divine Love.
The heart of Spring is the perfect time for our magical journey. On Orcas Island, spring mornings are often enshrouded in magical mists, melting into bright afternoon sunshine and dazzling blue skies. The entire island is blossoming with beauty and new life. The northern days are luxuriously long and luminous, slipping into silent, star-filled nights. You will feel wrapped in the nourishing darkness of the Great Mother’s womb, sleeping peacefully and dreaming deeply.
OUR RETREAT LOCATION: Our home for this retreat will be Orcas Island’s beautiful and historic Rosario Resort and Spa. Enjoy Rosario’s old-world charm, stunning marine views, and lovely spa offering a variety of relaxation and rejuvenation services, as well as an exercise room, indoor pool, and indoor sauna for resort guests. RETREAT VENUE: Each day, we will meet at the Rosario Conference Center, surrounded by pristine natural beauty and magnificent ocean views. Our conference center is located on the water’s edge overlooking Cascade Bay. Imagine painting in a huge room with floor-to-ceiling windows, streaming natural light, and gorgeous, misty harbor views. It will feel as if we’ve been magically transported to the shores of Avalon.
LOVING SUPPORT AND INDIVIDUAL GUIDANCE: Our retreat will be small enough to ensure that you will receive loving support and individual guidance from our teachers, Lina and Katherine, and our painting assistants, Pauline and Jennifer.

Our Magical Journey to Avalon
MAY 7: Our magical retreat begins on MONDAY, May 8, 2017 and ends on Friday, May 12, 2017. Ferries to and from the island are limited, so we recommend arriving a day early on Sunday, May 7th, and leaving on Saturday, May 13th. Rosario Resort will happily extend our retreat pricing to you for those days.
MAY 8, 9, 10, 11, 12: We’ve lovingly planned these daily experiences for you . . .
MORNING CAFE: A creative and contemplative morning practice known as “cafe.” Inspired by Katherine’s painting mentors, Sue Hoya Sellars and Shiloh Sophia McCloud, this sweet morning ritual will ignite our creative spark and connect us more deeply with our divine guidance.
MORNING SESSION with LINA AND THE GUIDES: We will begin each day with a morning meditation and potent teaching with Lina and the Guides, ascended masters committed to our awakening. Dream analysis will also be included on several days.
LUNCH: Enjoy lunch at one of the delicious cafes or bistros in the charming village of Eastsound or pack a lovely picnic and eat at the beach or the shores of Cascade Lake.
AFTERNOON BREAK: Orcas Island is a magical outdoor wonderland, sparkling with natural beauty. We will hike Cascade Lake’s beautiful wooded trails, visit waterfalls and secret beaches, enjoy the stunning views atop Mt. Constitution and Turtleback Mountain. And, oh yes, there will be time for naps, visits to Katherine Taylor Chocolates, and shopping adventures, if you desire.
AFTERNOON INTENTIONAL CREATIVITY PAINTING SESSION with Katherine, Pauline, and Jennifer: We’ll spend blissful afternoons journeying to Avalon and painting our Inner Priestess into being. Our light-filled “painting studio” overlooks the sparkling blue waters of Cascade Bay.
DINNER: We will dine together for our delicious Welcome Dinner on May 8th and our lavish Celebration Feast on May 12th. We will happily accommodate special dietary needs. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we are free to explore the island’s many charming and delightful restaurants.
EVENING: Evenings will be OPEN to spend however the spirit moves us: relaxing, independent painting, journaling, meditating, or laughing with friends old and new.
EVENING MEDITATION: We’ll close each day with an optional evening meditation with Lina and the Guides.

Spaces are reserved on a first come, first serve basis with receipt of your initial payment used as the determining factor of registration.
Of course, we hope you won’t need to cancel your trip, but if you must, please send written notification of your cancellation to katherinewitteman@me.com.
